27. SLANT BOARD

INSTRUCTIONS

♦ Lie on your back and place your feet flat on the floor, drawing them in toward your buttocks so that your knees are pointed upward.

♦ Inhale, and press your lower back into the floor.

♦ Exhale, lifting your tailbone and lifting your vertebrae slowly, your thighs lifting up so that you create a slant, a straight line from your knees to your shoulders.

♦ Your chin is tucked into your chest. Hold the pose while breathing.

♦ Exhale, coming back down slowly, one vertebra at a time, beginning with your upper back and ending with your lower back, pressing into the floor.
